Abstract
This session is an introduction to Public Engagement opportunities at the University:
- What is Public Engagement?
- How to get started?
- Blogging/Twitter/social media
- Science Festival
- STEMNET ambassadors
It will be followed by more focused sessions after summer break on the use of social media, writing for the Web, and communicating with media. There will likely also be a session focused on communicating animal research to the press and general audience.
All are welcome!
