Abstract
This one-day workshop will explore the role Big Data will play to identify research priorities and address the specific challenges encountered by Manufacturers in using data science.
Taking place in Cambridge on 1 February, it provides an opportunity for you to:
- Network with representatives from a range of UK manufacturing and technology sectors (SME and established companies), research councils, academics, government policy makers.
- Understand the cutting edge of data science techniques that are currently being used by leading industries.
- Understand how industrial companies can benefit (rather than suffering) from big data.
- Identify key areas to encourage collaborations between academia and industry to promote more innovative research.
- Engage in discussions about the challenges of big data in manufacturing and potential solutions.
