Laurent phenomenon and symplectic cohomology

Abstract
The function x+y+1/xy stays Laurent under a sequence of certain birational changes of coordinates called cluster tranformations. We will look at this phenomenon from the point of view of symplectic cohomology, observing along the way several other (classical) applications of the theory.
