Abstract
Most funders now require that research data is shared. But what are the advantages of data sharing? Are you supposed to share your data just because funders tell you to do so? The first speaker will address points surrounding these issues, including the advantages of data sharing, funders policies and support services available at the University of Cambridge. The second speaker will cover why you should make sure all your analyses are reproducible to aid replication of results, and highlight tools that allow you to automate your statistical analysis pipeline. The speaker will give a brief introduction to automating your figures and tables in Python and R, as well as a beginnerโs guide to GitHub.
