Abstract
Over the past 10 years, the massively multiplayer online role-playing game RuneScape has faced a number of different problems caused by malicious users. This talk will touch on some of these (including DDoS attacks, account hijacking, cheating ‘bot’ clients, and others), some of the technical solutions we have implemented to try and tackle them, and how successful they have been.
