· Our background of decades of experience implementing and supporting ERP systems in Manufacturing companies and why this is essential in understanding the potential and opportunities for IIOT . · The problems of ERP and why IIOT has the capability to solve those problems. · Our view on why IIOT will eventually make ERP systems obsolete. · The technologies involved. Sensors, Smart Labels, RFID tags/Readers, iPhones and Apps, Connectivity opportunities. etc. · The opportunities in detail :- · Information Technology (ERP) linked to Operational Technology and in particular the use of Sensors. · Smart/RFID labels and how they can dramatically automate and improve ERP data integration. · The opportunities for “Big Data” through automated data integration. · Supply Chain Automation. · Intelligent Products. · Our current project with Oclaro for Asset Tracking which we plan to extend to Object Tracking. · Our current project with Marshall Amplification to allow ERP remote interaction using an iPhone App. · Finally our planned courses and why we need Manufacturing companies to collaborate with.
