Abstract
In ocaml-effects, KC Sivaramakrishnan adds algebraic effects to OCaml. This provides a way to express, in a composable fashion, lightweight concurrency, generators, and other patterns that boil down to delimited control. One interesting aspect of programming in OCaml is being able to produce Javascript code, thanks to the js_of_ocaml compiler. In this talk, I will present my work on trying to compile the new effects primitives to Javascript. This comes as an additional pass in js_of_ocaml, and makes use of existing compilation techniques used in a new setting.
