Abstract
βLimits’ are back in thinking about surviving the future, though geographers have for some time critiqued the analytical premises and political implications of the concept of limits. This talk instead reclaims the concept, distinguishing it from scarcity and Malthusianism, arguing that there is something new in its reincarnation in the ‘degrowth’ literature.
