Abstract
The IoA hosts several members of the group responsible for the Gaia photometric data as well as being the location of the corresponding data processing centre. Having now completed the first operation cycle (feeding the first intermediate data release planned for the summer 2016) we summarise our experience and give a showcase of the most prominent results.
