Abstract
The field of computational biology has emerged rapidly over the last 30 years with the advent of high-throughput technologies in various areas of biology. I will give an overview of some recent interesting areas in computational biology interpreted broadly, giving examples of local work in epidemiology, genomics and neuroscience.
