A Career In Ethical Hacking
- 👤 Speaker: Alex King, Director, LD Capital Services.

- 📍 Venue: Seminar Room 3, Hauser Forum
Abstract
Alex King, a longtime investor in software and internet companies, will be talking about the emerging opportunity for skilled ‘ethical hackers’ to build a career from their skills.
Institutions and corporates need the skills that ethical hackers can offer them, but struggle to find the right people and don’t understand how to work with them. By the same token, a wealth of rewarding projects are on offer to ethical hackers but it can be difficult for them to find the right route to customers and then to navigate contracts, pricing, institutional procurement rules and so on.
There is a business model emerging that promises to open up this opportunity for both sides – this seminar will be an opportunity to learn more, to contribute to the model, and to put yourself forward for institutional projects.
Food and drink will be provided – please register for the event.
