Abstract
The on-going refugee crisis has become a divisive debate topic across Europe, impacting the international political scene and influencing local policy and decision making. Yet, much of the discussion featured in the media often fails to give a true image of what life is really like on the ground both for those making the perilous journey to Europe and those who work with them. After spending several weeks working in refugee camps around Greece, this talk will focus on providing a clearer picture of the current situation on the ground in the hopes of raising awareness and answering questions.
