Abstract
In the past year, we have witnessed the birth of a new movement to force action on climate change. Hundreds have been arrested shutting airline offices, breaking into power stations and pitching tents on an airport runway. Dubbed “the new swampy” by The Sunday Times, Joss Garman will talk about the direct action group he established, Plane Stupid, and the wider movement taking action against the root causes of climate change.
