Abstract
Paintings are static; movies move. What happens when films take paintings as their subject matter? This lecture explores what happens when still images are translated into the dynamic medium of the motion picture. The talk by Dr Nina Lübbren, Anglia Ruskin University, will be illustrated with slides and film clips, and is part of Cambridge Festival of Ideas.
Admission is by token, 1 per person, available at the Courtyard Entrance from 13.30 on the day of the talk. Induction loop available.
