Abstract
I will begin with a quick intro to Hamiltonian group actions in symplectic geometry, in particular symplectic 6-manifolds with a Hamiltonian circle action. By results of Tolman and McDuff there are only 4 examples with second Betti number equal to 1. I will discuss a conjectural description of Hamiltonian circle actions on 6-manifolds that are βFanoβ in the sense that the cohomology class of the symplectic form is a positive multiple of the first Chern class.
