Abstract
From persecutory thoughts to the aesthetics in our surroundings, both inner and outer realms collide to give rise to our mental landscape. In this talk, both perspectives will be presented with a particular emphasis on the impact they have on our wellbeing. First, Keri Wong will present a developmental perspective and measurement of suspiciousness in children and how it can relate to later schizophrenia. Second, Laurie Parma will present the role of our outer environment in shaping our wellbeing. Particularly, the role of green spaces, biodiversity and a methodological approach to address their relationship to well-being will be discussed.
Series This talk is part of the "Life Sciences Masterclass" series.
