Abstract
The aim of the CareGrid project is to develop middleware for supporting decisions based on trust, privacy, security and context models in a healthcare application domain. Our work involves developing mechanisms for enabling the collaboration of entities in a sensor-rich home, particularly focusing upon the notion of a domain. This presentation introduces various themes of research, in areas including policy, trust and auditing, and follows with a discussion of the requirements of a pub-sub platform to support the development of such ideas.
