Abstract
Named after Alcuin of York , a teacher, theologian, and poet who advised the Emperor Charlemagne, this annual lecture hosted by the Department of Politics and International Studies is given on a topic concerning the UK and Europe.
The 2016 Lecture will be given by Greg Hands MP, Minister of State in the Department of International Trade on “Global Britain? The future of British trade after Brexit”.
Greg Hands is the Member of Parliament for Chelsea and Fulham. He was appointed as Minister of State for the Department for International Trade on 15 July, three weeks after the EU referendum.
