Abstract
Cambridge University Russian Society and the Cambridge Union Society are delighted to announce the talk by Mr Vladimir Pozner, a prominent French-born Russian-American journalist, famous for literally bridging the US and the Soviet Union in the years of the Cold War. One of the most successful journalists of recent times, he is viewed by many as Russia’s Larry King. He worked in both Russia and the US, hosting a show with Phil Donahue on CNBC . He now hosts TV show called “Pozner”, where he interviewed such people as Mikhail Gorbachev, Oliver Stone and Hillary Clinton.
He will give a talk followed by Q&A session on the relationships between Russia and the West, their historical development and potential solutions to the current crisis.
