Abstract
C++ fundamentally encourages generic programming via one of its most well-known and distinctive features: Templates. Many crucial additions have been made in recent standards, and the focus on abstraction in the language has grown significantly. This talk will give an introduction to the idea behind Templates and some important characteristics, and present two relevant prospective features—-Modules and Concepts—-which opt to solve two of the most critical issues regarding Templates.
Series This talk is part of the Churchill CompSci Talks series.
