Abstract
Interested in finding novel ways to finance your academic research or your start-up company? Crowdfunding could be your answer.
Join us to meet the co-founders of two local crowdfunding platforms to learn about how crowdfunding works, what their respective organisations do, and how you can get involved.
Crowd Science (http://crowd.science) is a London-based crowdfunding platform that enables academics to use rewards- and donation-based crowdfunding to finance their research.
Capital Cell (http://capitalcell.net) is the world’s first biotech-specific crowdfunding platform which enables innovative life science start-up companies to crowdfund equity finance. They are currently in the process of moving their global HQ to Cambridge.
We’ll follow the talks with pizza, drinks and a chance to meet the founders in person.
