Abstract
In this upcoming talk, I will present my visit to De Hogeweky, the famous dementia village in Weesp, Netherland, and incorporate it into the model that I am developing to reduce disability in dementia. I hope to use this talk to discuss ideas, discover further research areas, and explore collaborative opportunities. Feedback is encouraged and welcomed.
Wei-Ying Chou is a doctoral candidate at the Engineering Design Centre supervised by Professor P John Clarkson. As a healthcare design researcher with a medical background, her doctoral work focuses on exploring the feasibility of applying design knowledge in dementia care, to enhance care experience, patient/staff’s health and well-being.
