Abstract
In this talk, Anoop Nayak will discuss the evolution of his theoretical thinking in the areas of young people, cultural geography and post-colonial theory, with a particular focus on race. He will also discuss the role that theory plays in shaping research questions and will highlight the various ways in which he has undertaken youth subcultural research using different ethnographic research methods.
