The second in Cambridge-Anglia Ruskin’s UCU Trade Union and Labour History series. This is a joint session with the Cambridge Modern Economic and Social History and Policy Seminar.

Laura Schwartz is associate professor of modern British history at the University of Warwick. She has published widely on the history of British feminism and is currently working on a monograph entitled ‘Feminism and the Servant Problem: Class Conflict and Domestic Labour in the British Women’s Suffrage Movement’. She is a member of the Warwick UCU committee, and is also active in the London-based collective Feminist Fightback.
Karol Florek is a consultant and researcher for UNICARE , a global union alliance for the private care sector and part of UNI Global Union.
