Abstract
The Cambridge Migration Society is excited to welcome Raphael Sodini, Director of Asylum in France. Mr Sodini will provide a practitioner’s perspective on the issues discussed by Dr. Chowra Makaremi in the first part of this series. In particular, Mr Sodini will focus on three main points of discussion: 1. Is there such thing as a migration crisis in Europe? How can we qualify its intensity? 2. What are the consequences of that phenomenon in France? 3. And what sort of effect does it have on the relations between France and Britain?
This event will be moderated by Fabrice Langrognet (PhD candidate, Cambridge), who has experience as a judge specialized in immigration and asylum matters since 2010.
