I will discuss a collection of transiting planet systems that we have discovered over the last 2 years: ranging from the lowest densities to the highest densities, from very hot hosts to very cool hosts, and from short period to long(er) period orbits. The discoveries come from a combination of ground-based and space-based discoveries, and are coupled with follow-up photometry and spectroscopy. In particular I will discuss the impact of NGTS and K2 and what we can learn from it as the harbingers for the TESS -era.
