Abstract
We will present recent results in the study of some individual based models (IBMs) in spatial ecology. These models are based on birth-and-death processes in the continuum. In particular, continuous contact processes, Bolker-Pacala as well as Dieckmann-Law ecological IBMs will be discussed.
