Abstract
Let C be a plane quartic curve defined over a number field. Let p be a prime dividing its discriminant. This prime may be a prime of potentially good reduction, bad reduction or potentially good hyperelliptic reduction. Together with some collaborators, I found a bound for the primes of bad reduction for CM curves of genus 3 ([BCLLMNO15], [KLLNOS]). In this talk we will focus on the primes of hyperelliptic reduction and we will characterise them. This is a joint work with R. Lercier and C. Ritzenthaler.
