Abstract
The role of awareness in human cue-elicited responding is still debated. In this talk, I will present new evidences about the Pavlovian-to-Instrumental Transfer (PIT) in humans and propose the idea that propositional and automatic (or ideomotor) processes may play a differential role in the outcome-specific and general forms of PIT .
