Abstract
Global environmental technologies for a sustainable society have become increasingly more important to the automotive industry as the issue of global warming has advanced. In this talk Mr Kawanabe will introduce how Honda are recognising issues of the environment and energy today and explain their recent advances in emission reduction technology for CO2 . In addition the talk will introduce the Honda approach to the challenge for next generation technology and gasoline and diesel engines, hybrid electric vehicle, fuel cell vehicle and also introduce fuel processing.
