Abstract
“Art&Science, a SRUK initiative” is coming to Cambridge for the last exhibition on Wednesday 6th of December.
With the initiative “Art and Science” (ART & Science), we wanted to create a space where scientists and artists can work together, communicate and learn from each other, to finally transmit the scientific knowledge to the general public in a more comprehensible format, suggestive and much less abstract. For this, scientists and artists explored the same scientific question. Their different ways of working and tackling the same study were presented to the public on Saturday, June 17 in London, where the three winning projects were chosen: Common Bio by Marta Fusterand Tomás Di Domenico, Regeneration and Recycling by Jane Frost and Ana López and Seed dispersal in a Fragmented Landscape by Jon Heras and Juan Pedro González-Varo. The three winning couples of this initiative presented their works at Espacio Fundación Telefónica for the Opening Exhibition on Thursday 16th of November together with Anna Vilalta, coordinator of the initiative, in a round table moderated by the journalist América Valenzuela.
And now all the art-works that were presented in London can be finally seen in Cambridge! Come and see the all the art works and hear about artist and scientist collaborations!
