Abstract
Douglas Palmer will outline the process and problems of preparing an exhibition on ‘Ice Age Cambridge’. Much of the available museum material is historical, dating from the early 19th century before there was any knowledge about the ‘Ice Age’. The last 200 years or so have seen an extraordinary growth in understanding of this major event in Earth history, which is the subject of intense research, especially in this University.
