Abstract
A physicist by training, Dr Anna Barnesβ career is far from typical for a clinical scientist. In her talk, Dr Barnes will be speaking about how her career path was shaped through successful collaborations. Dr Barnes has completed her medical physics training through the Institute of Physics and Engineering in 1997. Today, she works at the Institute of Nuclear Medicine, University College London. Her research concentrates on finding robust imaging biomarkers, which help understand diseases and have applications in differential diagnosis in Neurology.
Please note that this event will take place in the BMS (Department of Chemistry) – not in Pharmacology.
