Abstract
How do you take a novel aircraft concept from the drawing board to flight? Where do you begin, and how do you deal with the inevitable challenges that crop up along the way? In this presentation, I will give you an introduction to the Airlander, our novel Hybrid Air Vehicle concept, and describe to you our journey from a box of bits through to flight testing of the worldβs biggest aircraft, and the next stages as we move from prototype to Type Certified aircraft.
