DESCRIPTION:Over the last 5 years Cambridge Consultants Ltd has developed 
 a Through Wall Radar – Prism 200 that is designed to track the movement 
 of people the other side of walls.  Over that time many diverse challenges
  have had to be dealt with.  Some of these have been technical and others 
 more associated with dealing with human nature.  This paper explores the p
 rocess that has lead to the introduction of a successful product into a ne
 w market and what had to be done to ensure that operational advantage is d
 elivered to demanding end users from diverse backgrounds.  Along the way m
 any interesting situations have been experienced.\n\nAlan Wiltshire BSc MB
 A CEng MIEE graduated in 1997 in electrical and electronic engineering and
  has for the majority of his career managed the transition of ideas into m
 anufacturable and saleable electronic equipment.  Alan has worked for a nu
 mber of instrumentation and defence companies on telemetry\, time domain r
 eflectometry\, measuring instruments\, electronic warfare and missile syst
 ems.  He now works for Cambridge Consultants Ltd as Programme Manager for 
 the Prism 200 – Through Wall Radar.\n
