DESCRIPTION:With guest panellists Robert Tansley\, Investor at CIC\, Anna
Williamson of Genentech\, Shaun Grady of AstraZeneca\, and Sir Greg Winter
\n\nThis session will offer key take-aways for anyone interested in collab
orative corporate-entrepreneurship partnerships. When\, why and how can th
ey deliver value? More specifically\, our speakers will share their experi
ence of collaboration and how the pathway might be mapped out. We will hea
r different perspectives. What is the investor’s take on this? How might
the experience be different for the organisation and for the individual?
What kind of mindset and business culture is required to grasp the opportu
nities and process the challenges? Our speakers will illustrate how negoti
ation and the leveraging of networks can lead to mutual benefits without n
ecessarily having a predetermined structure. We will also hear about what
it takes to develop a culture that encourages new ideas and provides suppo
rt. De-risking and increasing capacity can become real possibilities if yo
u work together. What counts in this context may not be the obvious nor is
it necessarily predetermined. What does it take to be open to disruption\
, appreciate the alignments of interest and see the long-term gains?\n\nAb
