 have evolved mechanisms that allow them to survive\, amongst other things\
 , high levels of Oxidative Stress. Professor Brugge in her lecture will di
 scuss novel unconventional mechanisms of redox adaptation that enable canc
 er cells to survive oxidative stress that may also significantly impact th
 e development of chemoresistance during chemotherapy.\n
