 nd individuals? What are the economic benefits and drawbacks? What are the
  implications of economic growth for endangered languages? This talk takes
  an objective look at this emotionally charged area\, in a time of rapid g
 lobal change.\n\n*About the speaker*\n\nDr Gabrielle Hogan-Brun is Senior 
 Research Fellow at the University of Bristol\, UK. She is author of _Lingu
 anomics. What is the Market Potential of Multilingualism?_ (2017\, Bloomsb
 ury Academic). She has worked with various European organizations on aspec
 ts of language policy in multilingual settings\, serves on several interna
 tional language and editorial boards and is founding book series editor of
  _Palgrave Studies in Minority Languages and Communities_.
