DESCRIPTION:Gregory Norminton's first novel\, "The Ship of Fools\," was pu
 blished by Sceptre in 2002 and was followed in 2004 by Arts and Wonders fo
 r which he won an Arts Council Writers' Award. He published "Ghost Portrai
 t" in 2005\; his new novel "Serious Things" was published in 2008. He is a
 lso an environmental activist and\, in 2005\, was a participant in "Planet
  Action\," a television series produced by Animal Planet in conjunction wi
 th the World Wildlife Fund. Gregory will speak about the interrelation bet
 ween literary activism and environmental activism in his work. A discussio
 n and wine reception will follow the reading.
