 a talk with Dr Berndt Hauptkorn\, the President of CHANEL Europe!\n\nDr Ha
 uptkorn studied in Germany and England\, earning a masters degree in Busin
 ess Administration and a PhD in Laws of Economics.\n\nHe started his profe
 ssional career in advertising\, before joining the strategy consulting fir
 m The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and its global consumer goods & media 
 practice.\n\nDr Hauptkorn moved on to the JAB Holding Company\, a privatel
 y held group focused on long-term investments in premium brands\, where he
  became the founding CEO of the group's luxury holding and subsequently th
 e global CEO of Bally. Afterwards\, he joined the Japanese high-street ret
 ailer Fast Retailing as a Global Officer and oversaw the European strategy
  and operations as CEO Europe of Uniqlo.\n\nSince 2015\, Dr Hauptkorn has 
 been working with CHANEL in Paris as President of the Region Europe. He ov
 ersees the business of the brand's fashion\, fragrance & beauty\, and watc
 hes & jewellery divisions. \n\nAt our event\, Dr Hauptkorn will give a tal
 k entitled 'The Business of Luxury'. \n\nThere will also be time for quest
