DESCRIPTION:Is there a neural basis for religious belief and experience? \
 nDoes your biology shape your political views? \n\nJoin us for an evening 
 of talks which will explore how differences in brain activity and structur
 e may relate to differences in our beliefs. \n\nWe will be joined by four 
 fantastic speakers:\n\n-Revd Prof. Alasdair Coles\, a neurologist who has 
 done some research on the neurological basis for religious experience.\n\n
 -Dr Joseph Tennant\, a research associate working on the psychology and ne
 urology of religious experience. \n\n-Dr Harvey McMahon FRS\, whose resear
 ch is focussed on the molecular mechanisms of vesicle trafficking. Dr McMa
 hon also has an interest in the role of the brain on free will. \n\n-Dr Le
 e de- Wit\, a post-doctoral researcher and author of a book exploring the 
 psychology of voting- ‘What's Your Bias?: The Surprising Science of Why 
 We Vote the Way We Do’\n\nRefreshments will be provided after the discus
