DESCRIPTION:Yang-Mills fields coupled to Einstein equations have a particu
 lar interest\, because they possess a wide family of stationary sphericall
 y symmetric solutions : some are smooth and some are the exterior of a bla
 ck hole. A lot of numerical studies have been done on the subject\, and th
 ese exotic solutions seem to be unstable. However no analytic proof of thi
 s fact is known for the moment. In this talk\, I will present the uncouple
 d problem of su(2) Yang-Mills field on the exterior of a fixed Schwarzschi
 ld black holes with spherical symmetry. It is already a nonlinear problem 
 and there also exists infinitely many stationary solutions\, that we show 
 to be linearly and non linearly unstable. This is a joint work with Dietri
 ch Häfner.
