DESCRIPTION:Black holes are important objects in any theory of gravity for
the insight they provide into the quantum gravity realm. However\, as the
complexity of the theories in which they appear increases\, it is harder
to find exact analytical solutions. Therefore\, it is interesting to find
solution generating algorithms – procedures which transform a seed confi
guration to another configuration with a greater complexity. The Janis–N
ewman (JN) algorithm is one of these (off-shell) solution generating techn
iques\, which – in its original formulation – generates rotating metri
 cs from static ones.
