DESCRIPTION:This talk is for everyone who is wondering how geometry works 
 in characteristic p. I will define the étale fundamental group\, and then
  sketch how to compute it for curves over an algebraically closed field of
  characteristic p. On the way we will see some of my favourite theorems.
