DESCRIPTION:The simple exclusion process (SEP) is an interacting particle 
 system which represents the evolution of random walks on the d-dimensional
  lattice\, where jumps to already occupied sites are suppressed. I will pr
 esent some probabilistic properties of the SEP\, and use them to prove a c
 entral limit theorem for the position of a tagged particle.
