DESCRIPTION:The event will showcase the wide range of mutually-beneficial 
 collaborative research\, research administration capacity strengthening in
 itiatives\, as well as teaching activities that Cambridge academics and st
 udents are involved in\, in partnership with African colleagues. \n\nThe D
 ay will be introduced by the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Cambridg
 e - *Professor Stephen Toope* and a keynote address will be given by exter
 nal guest *Dr Tom Kariuki* (Director of AESA\, African Academy of Sciences
 ). Attendees are expected from Cambridge\, Africa and beyond. \n\n*Registr
