DESCRIPTION:Globally F-regular varieties are a special type of Frobenius s
 plit varieties\nand closely related to log Fano varieties. Toric and Schub
 ert varieties (in\npositive characteristic) are important examples of glob
 ally F-regular\nvarieties. I will discuss vanishing theorems\, and in part
 icular Kollar's\ninjectivity theorem for semi-ample line bundles\, on glob
 ally F-regular\nvarieties. This talk is based on joint work with Yoshinori
  Gongyo.
