DESCRIPTION:The Last Animals follows the conservationists\, scientists and
  activists battling poachers and criminal networks to save elephants and r
 hinos from the edge of extinction.\n\nConflict photographer Kate Brooks tu
 rns her lens from the war zones she is used to covering to a new kind of g
 enocide - the killing of African Elephants and Rhinos - in this sweeping a
 nd sobering expose. As the single-digit population of Northern White Rhino
 ceros ticks closer to zero\, Brooks outlines the myriad factors contributi
 ng to the current epidemic of highly effective poaching and trafficking sy
 ndicates\, drawing startling connections between the illegal wildlife trad
 e\, drug cartels\, international terrorism and border security. But all is
  not yet lost - at the same time\, Brooks documents the heroic efforts of 
 conservationists\, park rangers\, and scientists to protect these animals 
 in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds.\n\nPlease note that the scre
 ening is 1.5 hours and discussion after is around 45 minutes so the event 
 will not finish until 7.30pm.  \n\nThe Q&A session will be with the direct
 or\, Kate Brooks\, Professor Sam Wasser\, University of Washington\, and P
 rofessor Bhaskar Vira\, Director of the University of Cambridge Conservati
 on Research Institute. We anticipate this session to be around 45 minutes
