  a particular focus on the role of the United States and its impact on the
  legislation and policies of third countries and the EU. \n\nPasquale Anni
 cchino is a CIRIS Senior Research Associate and a Research Fellow at the R
 obert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies at the European University Insti
 tute in Florence\, Italy. He has been adjunct professor of law at Brigham 
 Young University Law School and a visiting professor at the Catholic Unive
 rsity of Leuven (Belgium).\n
