DESCRIPTION:Ultra high energy (UHE) neutrinos are the perfect tool to stud
y the most remote corners of the universe. A guaranteed flux of UHE neutri
nos should come from cosmic rays interacting with the cosmic microwave bac
kground\, offering insights into cosmic ray sources and compositions\, and
at the same time providing unprecedented constraints on neutrino interact
ion and oscillation models.\nThe ANtarctic Impulsive Transient Antenna (AN
ITA) is a long-duration balloon payload funded by NASA\, with an array of
radio antennas. ANITA scans the Antarctic ice looking for Askaryan radio e
mission coming from UHE neutrinos interactions. Extensive air showers comi
ng from ultra-high-energy cosmic rays and hadronic showers from tau neutri
nos can also be detected by ANITA via geomagnetic radio emission. This tal
k will present the challenges of neutrino astronomy\, an overview of the A
NITA experiment\, the latest results of the third flight\, and improvement
 s towards future flights.
